Dit gerecht in de Lekker Hapje Cup 2010: stem op de beste inzending!
Carolina Aragon, 22 jaar, komt uit het noorden van Argentinie. Wij kennen elkaar niet, maar zij was wel zo spontaan om met mij te delen wat zij het liefste eet:
“My favourite salad is one that my mom prepares every sunday. It is like this: first, you cut very small cubes of onion, aubergine and red and green pepper and you sauté them. In another bowl you prepare cous-cous. When everything it`s cold, you mix them and season it with aceto balsamico (I don`t know how to translate it to english), moustard and salt…”
En dat is eigenlijk alles wat je hoeft te weten.

Door de venkel wordt de wortelschotel extra geurig. De groene paprika is een tikje bitter, dus een mooie tegenhanger voor het zoet van de wortel, venkel en krenten.
